We offer material cutting, packaging, product marking, mill edge trimming of coils/sheets, brushing and mill scale removal from sheet surfaces. Transportation is naturally provided.
From coil to sheet – service centers have lines for cutting coils transversely or longitudinally, surface brushing lines, packaging and label marking. Intelligent control systems ensure precise monitoring of all production and logistics flows, transparency and product traceability. Cutting lines process coils from 0.4 mm to 25 mm thickness and offer customers sheets of all sizes, including custom formats (see table of options on page 1).
The advantage is a sheet with a perfectly flat surface, with elimination of sheet waviness, with a guarantee of the highest quality products, as well as time and budget savings for the end customer, who receives a product ready for further processing.
Packaging of sheet bundles is handled by our suppliers with maximum attention to ensure:
* Cold-rolled sheets, blanks and coils, thinner gauges up to 5 mm and coated surfaces are also supplied strapped on a wooden pallet with protective PVC, where special packaging is included in the price of the coil or sheet. Your sales representative will alert you to these cases, as only one of the suppliers does not charge for them.*

Product marking is a fundamental process to ensure traceability of sheet products at all stages of their existence. Service centers use a marking system that enables real-time product monitoring, reporting all information in the factory so that all operators can optimize handling flow.
The main traceability tool used in the marking process is a barcode on each adhesive label attached to each sheet bundle. Lines in the production process are equipped with an automatic labeler connected to the database of received orders in the information system.

The service center can perform sheet marking modifications based on specific client needs as a customized service. There are various types of marking and depending on the one chosen, the result obtained can be permanent or erasable, naturally without damaging the steel.
Using special ink printers located on cutting lines, each sheet is marked on one side and longitudinally with a variable number of characters and/or graphic symbols. Ink marking typically contains the following information:
These standard markings can be integrated or replaced at the customer’s request. The ink used for marking can be erased using common solvents/thinners and does not affect the physical properties of the material; however, if special surface treatments are anticipated, such as painting, ink marking may be contraindicated.
Notes on product marking:
Sheet/coil edge trimming is performed by removing part of the product edge to reduce the width of sheets according to customer needs. The requirement for trimmed edges must be stated in the material order, as it is not always done. The result of edge trimming ensures product uniformity in the series for standardized serial production.

Attention to detail and surface appearance are elements that characterize quality suppliers. These surface treatments are specially performed on request to remove all impurities, steel dust (mill scale) and micro-flakes, so that the sheet obtains a smooth, homogeneous surface suitable for finer production processes.
Mill scale is formed during hot processing of steel products and appears as a dusty patina or micro-flakes created by a combination of ferric oxide, magnetite and hematite.
Cutting lines at our suppliers are equipped with multiple brushing and mill scale suction sections, through which the mill scale naturally present on the surface of steel sheets is removed by the action of rotating brushes with carbon fibers. It is suctioned by a special system, collected in special containers outside the production hall and completely recycled.
Sheets after mill scale removal have a surface particularly suitable for laser cutting at a fraction of the cost of pickling.
